Dňa 22. októbra sa v rámci činnosti Ruského centra a Európskeho fondu slovanskej písomnosti a kultúry uskutočnil ďalší Metodický deň, ktorý spojil pedagógov, študentov a priateľov Fondu.
Hlavnou témou videomostu bolo zhodnotenie prekladateľskej praxe študentov Filozofickej fakulty Univerzity Mateja Bela (UMB) v Banskej Bystrici.
Tradícia spolupráce s touto univerzitou trvá už niekoľko rokov. Počas praxe študenti nielen prekladajú texty zo slovenčiny a do slovenčiny pre webovú stránku a sociálne siete Fondu, ale aj aktívne participujú na kultúrnych projektoch EFSPaK. Táto činnosť im umožňuje priblížiť sa k bohatstvu ruskej literatúry a kultúry a získať neoceniteľné skúsenosti z priameho medzikultúrneho dialógu.
Uplynulé obdobie praxe bolo mimoriadne pestré: študenti pomáhali s prípravou textov pre bannerovú fotografickú výstavu „Slovensko. Príroda. Kultúra. Ľudia“, ako aj s prezentáciou výstavy venovanej životu a tvorbe maliara Igora Grabarja.
Koordinátor praxe – PhDr. Igor Cintula, PhD., pedagóg Katedry slovanských jazykov UMB – ocenil úspechy študentov v prekladateľskej práci a načrtol perspektívy spolupráce na nasledujúci rok.
Študentky sa podelili o svoje dojmy a vyzdvihli, ako im prax v EFSPaK pomohla prehĺbiť znalosti ruského jazyka a oboznámiť sa so živými formami súčasnej kultúrnej komunikácie.
Metodický deň obohatil aj fotograf a cestovateľ Viacheslav Shambazov, ktorý sa podelil o svoje zážitky z nedávnej cesty autom do Francúzska a o stretnutia s krajanmi žijúcimi vo Francúzsku, ako aj o svoje pozorovania rusko-francúzskej kultúrnej spolupráce.
O bannerovej výstave „Slovensko. Príroda. Kultúra. Ľudia“ porozprávala jej kurátorka, umelecká riaditeľka EFSPiK Iuliia Krasulia.
Riaditeľka Európskeho fondu slovanskej písomnosti a kultúry a jazykovej školy Spectrum Elena Prekopová poďakovala študentom a pedagógom za plodnú spoluprácu a zdôraznila význam praxe ako formy kultúrneho dialógu.
Vedúca praxe za EFSPaK, lektorka ruského jazyka Natalia Yadryshnikova, ocenila viditeľný pokrok študentov v ovládaní ruského jazyka a pozvala ich na nové projekty a podujatia Fondu.
Metodický deň opäť potvrdil, že jazyk a kultúra nie sú len predmetom štúdia, ale živým priestorom stretnutia a porozumenia. Spolupráca EFSPa§+K a Univerzity Mateja Bela pomáha mladým ľuďom nielen zdokonaľovať sa v ruštine, ale aj stať sa sprostredkovateľmi kultúr, nositeľmi tradícií a tvorcami spoločného európskeho duchovného priestoru.
A Bridge of Cultures and Languages: Results of the Translation Practice of Matej Bel University Students at EFSPiK
On October 22, within the framework of the Russian Center and the European Foundation for Slavic Literacy and Culture (EFSPaK), another Methodological Day took place, bringing together teachers, students, and friends of the Foundation.
The main topic of the videoconference was the review of the translation practice of students from the Faculty of Philosophy of Matej Bel University (MBU) in Banská Bystrica.
The cooperation between EFSPiK and the university has already become a tradition. During the internship, students not only translate texts from Slovak and into Slovak for the Foundation’s website and social media, but also actively participate in EFSPaK’s cultural projects. This experience allows them to explore the richness of Russian literature and culture and to gain invaluable insights into real intercultural communication.
The recently completed internship period was particularly eventful: students assisted in preparing texts for the banner photo exhibition “Slovakia. Nature. Culture. People”, as well as in covering the exhibition dedicated to the life and work of the artist Igor Grabar.
The internship coordinator — Dr. Igor Cintula, lecturer at the Department of Slavic Languages of MBU — praised the students’ achievements in translation and outlined plans for future collaboration.
The students shared their impressions, noting how the EFSPaK internship helped them deepen their knowledge of Russian and become familiar with the living forms of modern cultural communication.
The Methodological Day was enriched by a presentation from photographer and traveler Viacheslav Shambazov, who spoke about his recent car trip to France and his encounters with compatriots living there, as well as about Russian-French cultural interactions.
The curator of the banner exhibition “Slovakia. Nature. Culture. People”, EFSPiK’s art director Iuliia Krasulia, presented the project in detail.
The Director of the European Foundation for Slavic Literacy and Culture and the Spectrum Language School, Elena Prekopova, thanked the students and teachers for their fruitful cooperation and emphasized the importance of the internship as a form of intercultural dialogue.
The EFSPiK internship supervisor, Russian language instructor Natalia Yadryshnikova, noted the students’ significant progress in mastering Russian and invited them to take part in upcoming projects and events of the Foundation.
Once again, the Methodological Day confirmed that language and culture are not merely subjects of study but a living space for encounter and mutual understanding.
The collaboration between EFSPaK and Matej Bel University helps young people not only improve their Russian but also become mediators between cultures, guardians of traditions, and creators of a shared European spiritual space.
