The Choir from Slovakia received the Grand Prix of the Moscow International Slavic Music Festival

The participants of the 13th Moscow International Festival of Slavic Music, which took place in Moscow at the Balakirev Children's Art School under the support of the Department of Culture of Moscow, returned to Slovakia with a victory.

The festival was held within the framework of the state program of the celebration of the "Days of Slavic Literature and Culture" and for many years traditionally was held in May on the eve of this Orthodox holiday.

Exhibition of books "History of Russian Culture in Persons"

On the 15th of May 2017, in the Russian Center of the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture in Bratislava, was held an exhibition of books entitled "The History of Russian Culture in Persons".

 

Certification exams on Russian language in Bratislava

On the 21st of May 2017, in Bratislava passed the certification exams on the Russian language, which were conducted by the specialists of the State Institute of Russian Language named after A.S. Pushkin, in the examination center at the Russian center of science and culture in Bratislava.

Celebrating the Victory Day over fascism in Bratislava

On the 9th of March 2017, in Bratislava, solemn events dedicated to the 72nd anniversary of the Victory over fascism in the Second World War were held.

On this day in the center of the city, on the square in front of the Slovak National Theater, was held a concert of the cadets' brass band of the Moscow Musical Cadet Corps, whose performances were organized by the Russian Cultural Fund. Despite the cold weather, several hundred residents and guests of Bratislava gathered to watch their performance. The marches and melodies of the war years were performed by pretty boys in military uniform. The audience applauded and sang along. The song "Katyusha" was sang by all visitors.

A creative meeting of compatriots with the legendary artist Vladimir Etush

On the 2d of May 2017 was held a creative meeting of compatriots with the legendary artist Vladimir Etush.

The organizer of the meeting was the Russian Center of the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture in Bratislava. At the meeting were invited compatriots from Slovakia and Austria. Partner of the Russian Center, the company Yust offered to hold a meeting in the small Austrian town of Rust, where V. Etush and his wife arrived on vacation.
