On the 13th and 14th of September 2017 in Bratislava in the assembly hall of the Russian Center of Science and Culture a training seminar for Russian language teachers on the theme "Organizational and methodological support of testing in Russian as a foreign language" was held.
The seminar was organized by the Russian Center of International Certification "Commonwealth" in the framework of the Program of Events for the Professional Development of Teachers of the Russian Language as a Foreign Language in the Far Abroad.
To conduct the seminar, leading experts from Moscow and St. Petersburg State Universities came to Bratislava to prepare and to conduct tests. Among them were authors of teaching aids and of the latest methodological developments in teaching Russian as a foreign language.
The Russian center of the European Fund of Slavic Literature and Culture sent for the training its teachers, 6 of which received certificates of completion of the training at the full-time seminar. Each of them received special codes of remote access for continuing education on the official Advanced Training Program website.
During two days the participants of the seminar listened to lectures, took part in master classes and discussions on the subject of the seminar, exchanged views on the use of innovative methods of teaching the Russian language, got acquainted with teaching aids and Internet resources.
All the participants of the seminar appreciated the high level of specialists from Russian universities and the undoubted benefit of holding such seminars in the daily work of the teacher.
