And since the sun will come afterthe rain,

so the peace will come after the war

and I will return home my dear.

Astudent from Italy wrote this letter to the front:

"I'll be waiting for you,

And I will be thinking of you

When the smell of roses in ourgarden envelops me

And the long summer days will seemendless without you.

I'll be waiting for you,

And I will feel that you are by myside

Knowing that

We look at the same bright moon inthe night.

'I'll be waiting for you,

Without leaving myself with tears

For your absence

I will be strong for you.

And I know you'll be back soon

And we will look into each other’seyes and

Life will flow again. ”
