On January 9, the regional qualifying round of the prestigious "Russian Word" competition will take place in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. Last year, this competition celebrated its 20th anniversary, bringing together talented participants from all corners of Slovakia. The competition is divided into two categories: for Russian-speaking schoolchildren and for Slovaks learning Russian. Young talents showcase their skills in three nominations—prose, poetry, and singing. This is not just a competition, but a real opportunity to unlock creative potential, demonstrate a deep knowledge of Russia's state language, and immerse oneself in its rich culture.
