Slovak schoolchildren reached the finals of the II International Online Olympiad in Russian

According to the results of the qualifying round of the Olympiad, three Slovak schoolchildren Igor Prekop from Bratislava, Vivien Mrazova and Sashka Ilenchikova from Levice successfully passed the qualifying round and moved to the final stage.

The organizer of the II International Online Olympiad in Russian as a Foreign Language is the oldest university in Russia - St. Petersburg State University, which has been holding Olympiads in various subjects for about a hundred years.

The Olympiad is held from November 5 to December 20, 2020 with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation in two age categories: 12-16 years old and 17-30 years old.

The Russian Center of the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture in Bratislava, together with the teachers of the school at Podluzhanka from the city of Levice, prepared schoolchildren for the participation in this competition in the first age category.

In the qualifying round, the participants solved tests with closed and open type tasks, as well as creative tasks of increased complexity. According to the organizers, 9500 people from 150 countries took part in the qualifying round of the Olympiad.
