Art exhibition “My beloved province” in Bratislava

The European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture in Bratislava invites you to visit the Art Exhibition “My Favorite Province” 15.7.2024-01.10.2024.

The exhibition presents works by participants in international art symposiums on contemporary art from the stock collection of the Elabuga State Historical, Architectural and Art Museum-Reserve (Russia, Republic of Tatarstan, Elabuga).
The exhibition included 110 works of painting and graphics (watercolor, pencil, linocut) by 98 artists.
The main symbol of the exhibition was the ancient Russian merchant city of Elabuga, one of the most beautiful cities in Tatarstan, with a unique 1000-year history. It is rightfully considered the pearl of Tatarstan.
Landscape works introduce the views of the city - ancient streets, churches, Alexander Nevsky Chapel.
In other works, the masters turned to the origins of Russian culture - the folk holiday of the summer solstice of Ivan Kupala, songs, ditties and lullabies, the heroes of the ancient Russian epic “The Lay of Igor’s Campaign”, the patron saints of the family Peter and Fevronya of Murom and many other images.

The exhibition takes place at:
