International action "The world reads Chekhov" in Slovakia

The European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture has joined the international action "The World Reads Chekhov".
We bring to your attention the first participant of the action Diana Dyuritsova from the Gymnasium. I. Horvat. Diana read Anton Pavlovich's story "Ah, teeth!"
The story is written in a humorous style, while fraught with great meaning and a large amount of information. The title of the work sets up a certain plot. Do you know that there are three types of toothache? Have you ever treated your teeth with iodine, horseradish, cologne or ink?
How does the author describe the patient's pain? As if someone is gnawing inside him... But the most important thing at the end - on the one hand, I feel sorry for the protagonist, on the other, not so much...
Happy listening!
The project is organized by the Taganrog Public Library as part of the XV International Chekhov Book Festival and brings together admirers of the writer's work from 31 countries.
