On the eve of the 60th anniversary of the first manned flight into space, the history of astronautics was studied in Bratislava.

On April 9, 2021, on the eve of the 60th anniversary of the first manned flight into space, an open online lesson on the topic “Konstantin Tsiolkovsky. A dreamer, a scientist, a realist?" was held. The lesson was dedicated to the Russian scientist-inventor, the founder of theoretical cosmonautics, the creator of scientific papers on aeronautics and rocket dynamics, Konstantin Eduardovich Tsiolkovsky. Students of the Russian language courses got acquainted with the biography of the scientist, with interesting facts from his life, which characterize him as a talented person with great ability to work and perseverance. Fragments of the film "The Wonderful World of Tsiolkovsky" were shown at the meeting. Then, in the format of a team discussion, they discussed what role an accident from childhood played in Tsiolkovsky's life. Students showed great interest in the work and personality of the scientist. They noted his inexhaustible optimism and faith in science. At the end of the meeting, the students took part in the # Ya_Gagarin «#Я_Гагарин» flash mob, which launched Channel One the day before in honor of the 60th anniversary of the first manned flight into space. Each of us is the first in life. Therefore, you can safely say about yourself: “I am Gagarin!”.
