Teleconference "Space unites: Moscow - Bratislava - Paris"

On February 19, 2021, an international teleconference was held. It was dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the flight of the first cosmonaut in the world Yuri Gagarin into space.

The main participants in the teleconference were three cosmonauts Viktor Afanasyev from Russia; Ivan Bella from Slovakia and Jean-Pierre Higniere from France. It was on these days, exactly 22 years ago, that the international crew on the Soyuz TM-29 spacecraft went to the orbital space station "Mir" in this composition.

The organizers of the teleconference were two Russian Centers of Science and Culture in Bratislava and Paris. The videoconference was also attended by the Slovak Cultural Center in Moscow, Slovak high school students from the cities of Vrbov, Vrablé and Bratislava, French schoolchildren from Grenoble, Russian schoolchildren from Moscow, representatives of the Russian-French Friendship Association, students, journalists and lovers of the Russian language.

Students and teachers of Russian language courses at the Russian Center of the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture in Bratislava also took part in the videoconference. They listened attentively to the cosmonauts' speeches and asked questions.

On the YouTube channel, a live broadcast of the teleconference was conducted. More then 250 people were registered in it. The relaxed atmosphere left no one indifferent. The participants did not want to part in any way.
