Teleconference Bratislava-Moscow opened summer Russian language courses

On July 1, 2020, a teleconference was held between students of Russian language courses in Bratislava and students and graduates of the Financial Academy and the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia from Moscow. The teleconference was dedicated to the military Victory Parade on Red Square in Moscow.

The Russian Center of the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture in Bratislava organized the teleconference with which it opened summer Russian language courses.

The teleconference began with the recollections of the pages of history about the sudden and treacherous attack of fascist Germany on the Soviet Union, about the heroic defence of the Soviet people, about the heroic defenders of the Brest Fortress, which was the first to take the attack.

The main event of the teleconference was the second part of the program. Slovak participants watched with great interest the military parade of Victory on Red Square. They looked with admiration at the power of military equipment, listened to their peers from Moscow about preparations for this significant event in Moscow under quarantine.

In the process of discussing the theme of World War II, participants found that in Europe in many school textbooks this period is presented little and not entirely correctly.

At the end of the teleconference, an exchange of views about Parade took place. We discussed the further development of friendly relations.
