Methodological Day at the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture

On January 28, 2025, the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture (Slavfond) launched a series of meetings under the title "Methodological Day." This event marked a new stage in the foundation’s educational and cultural activities.

Representatives of the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture Participated in the Conference “Holocaust Research and Memory Politics”
The European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture took part in a roundtable discussion organized by the Scientific and Methodological Center of Russian Studies in collaboration with the Department of Eastern and Central European History and Historical Russian Studies of Budapest State University. The theme of the roundtable was “Holocaust Research and Memory Politics,” and the event was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Budapest Ghetto.

 

On January 13, RFL teachers of EFSPaK participated in a webinar titled 

"Phonetics and Grammar in Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language to Foreigners."

The webinar covered the following topics:

Russian grammar: specific features of teaching it to foreigners

Effective material delivery for foreign learners Sociocultural adaptation of foreigners

Phonetics and pronunciation training

The Russian Word Resonates in Slovak Schools

 

Every year, Slovakia hosts the nationwide competition "The Russian Word." This remarkable event brings together enthusiasts of the Russian language and culture. Participants compete in various categories, including poetry, prose, solo and group singing.
