30.06.2016 in the exhibition hall of the Aircraft gallery in Bratislava was held a presentation of the book by Russian authors "Russia. XX century. A brief chronicle of wars, revolutions and conflicts. "

Authors of the book - President of the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture Professor I.I. Bondarenko and first vice-President of the Fund D.V. Klimov, made a brief story about the content and history of the writing of the book. Exciting content, unique illustrations, exploratory publications - all this has caused genuine interest among the audience. New facts about the Great Patriotic War have caused a lot of questions from the audience.

Exposure time in Bratislava, Slovaki: 30 June - 22 October 2016. Then the exhibition will be presented in different regions and cities of Russia.

The project brought together young artists, graduates of the Surikov Institute, and the masters of contemporary art, whose works have systematized and organized the structure of the exhibition. Thirty years since the creation ofthe triptych of Konstantin Khudyakov "Cherry of theforty-five" will be presented (from the collection of Alexander Sploshnov). Among the recent works – presentation of the work of Ivan Kolesnikov and Sergey Denisov and a work of Igor Sever on the militarism theme.

22.06.2016 in the hall of the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Bratislava was held the solemn ceremony dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War.

The event began with a story about the one of the saddest and terrible days in the country's history - the start of the Great Patriotic War. The importance of preserving the historical memory in our time was especially emphasized. In a sign of memory for those who were killed in the Great Patriotic War and in the Second World War the Candle of Memory was lighted. All participants honored a memory of all those who gave their lives for a peace with the minute of silence.

On 08.06.2016, in Bratislava Business Center Aircraft was held the first meeting of brother-cities and partner regions of Russia and Slovakia. This meeting was held in the format of the International Conference.

The conference was initiated by International Association "Brother Cities" and the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly from the Russian side and the association of cities and towns of the Slovak Republic from the Slovak side with the active support of the Russian Embassy in

7^th June In 2016, the Russian centre of the European Foundation Slavic literacy and culture in Bratislava took place the opening of the exhibition of books A. S. Pushkin.

The exhibition consists of books, audio books and movies located in the Library of the Russian centre and in memory to two hundred seventeenth birthday anniversary of the poet.
