Art exhibition "My Russian Province" opened in Bratislava

On October 18, 2019, the opening of the “My Russian Province” art exhibition took place at the Aircraft Gallery in Bratislava

The exhibition presents works by participants of the international art symposiums on contemporary art from the stock collection of the Elabuga State Historical, Architectural and Art Museum-Reserve (Russia, the Republic of Tatarstan, the city of Elabuga).

The exhibition includes 110 paintings and drawings (watercolor, pencil, linocut) of 98 painters.

Russian Film Week in Bratislava

From November 28 to December 4, 2019 in Bratislava the Week of Russian Cinema will take place, which has already become traditional.

On November 21, 2019, the III International Conference "Tradeing on the Markets of the Eurasian Economic Union" was held in Bratislava. The conference was organized by the Embassies of Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan in Slovakia together with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bratislava city and the Bratislava Region.

The life and works of Russian painter Ivan Shishkin

On November 19, 2019, an open lesson in the Russian language and culture was held in the Russian center of the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture in Bratislava. It was dedicated to the life and works of Russian painter Ivan Shishkin.

Gymnasium named after Albert Einstein received books in Russian as a gift

Every year in October, the Albert Einstein Bilingual Grammar School in Bratislava celebrates The Day of the School. Gymnasium has existed since 1953 and is one of the oldest in Slovakia. In bilingual classes students study Russian language, separate subjects in Russian are also taught.
