IN MEMORY of our friend and colleague KLIMOV DMITRY VYACHESLAVOVICH (August 3, 1962 - July 4, 2021)

The European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture, the European Academy for Security and Conflictology and the Creative Union of Russian Artists suffered a heavy loss. On July 4, 2021, after a serious illness, Dmitry Vyacheslavovich Klimov passed away - a talented scientist and journalist, professor, academician of the European Academy of Security and Conflictology, academician of the International Academy of Literary Documentary, member of the Russian Union of Writers, member of the Union of Writers of Russia, member of the Union of Journalists of Russia, Deputy Chief editor of the magazine "Historical Bulletin", a man of high creative and moral ideals.

The Slovak team received awards for participating in the International Online Metal Arithmetic Olympiad

 June 27, at the Russian Center of the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture, a solemn awarding ceremony was held for the members of the Slovak team that took part in the International Online Olympiad in mental arithmetic "Akira Battle - The Invasion of the Magicians".

Bratislava honored the memory of those who fell in the Great Patriotic War with a minute of silence

On June 22, Bratislava honored the memory of those killed during the Great Patriotic War. At the monument to the soldiers-liberators at the Slavin memorial complex, commemorative events were held with the lighting of candles, the laying of flowers and wreaths.

The International Literary Online Marathon "Reading Pushkin's Lines" has started in Slovakia

On June 6, the International Literary Online Marathon "Reading Pushkin's Lines" started in Slovakia.

The event is timed to the Day of the Russian Language, which is celebrated on the birthday of the classic of Russian literature - Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin.


On Jun 4, 2021, at the age of 79, after a long illness, Viktor Antonovich Parkhimovich passed away.

Viktor Antonovich Parkhimovich was born in 1942. In 1965 he graduated from the Kharkov Aviation Institute, in 1988 he gratuated course of the Institute for Advanced Training of Senior Leaders of State Administration of the Academy of National Economy under the Council of Ministers of the USSR. He degreed his Ph.D. and doctoral dissertations. He was a winner of the USSR Council of Ministers Prize. Member of the Academy of Engineering Sciences. Academician of the International Academy of MATEiZ. Honorary Doctor of Riga Aviation University. 1980 - 1981 Vice-rector of the Riga Red Banner Institute of Civil Aviation Engineers, Riga. He worked in a design bureau, at aviation plants, at a university, at the USSR Ministry of Civil Aviation (in 1981-1987 he was deputy, in 1987-1991 he was head of the Department of educational institutions), in an airline.
