Slovak language for children of refugees and displaced from Ukraine

The European Foundation of Slavonic Literature and Culture and the Foundation of Ukrainian Literature and Culture continue to help children of refugees and displaced people from Ukraine in teaching the Slovak language and Slovak culture. Our classes are free and it is a huge support for those who want to learn more about the country they are currently in.

Sociocultural classes for children of refugees and displaced from Ukraine

On March 18, 2022, employees of the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture and the Foundation of Ukraininan Literature and Culture met children from Ukraine within their walls for the next socio-cultural adaptation classes.

Classes with children who came with their parents from Ukraine are held in cooperation with the Private Slavic Gymnasium in Bratislava with the active support of specialists in working with children from among compatriots.

Master classes for children arriving from Ukraine

On March 11, 2022, employees of the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture, together with the Foundation of Ukrainian literature and Culture, within the framework of cooperation with the Private Slavic Gymnasium in Bratislava, as well as with the support of specialists in working with children from among compatriots, conducted cognitive classes for children who arrived from with their parents from Ukraine.

International Mother Language Day

Every year on February 21, the world celebrates International Mother Language Day.
International Mother Language Day was established at the UNESCO General Conference in 1999 and has been celebrated worldwide since 2000 to promote linguistic and cultural diversity and multilingualism.

Open day for children-inventors: it will be interesting

On February 4, 2022, master classes, introductory lessons on robotics and free programming will take place as part of the traditional Open Days for young inventors, designers and dreamers. Classes in the Club are designed for parents who want to give their children a complete education with a focus on mathematics and information technology.
