Young artists, who are working with the different ways of fine arts, have been asked to review their attitude to the events of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, to feel them, not only relying on the books and movies about the war, but to get into the situation itself of the beginning of a large-scale and terrible tragedy.
05th May 2016 in Trencin at Trencin Castle in the barracks took place opening of the exhibition of paintings of Russian, Slovak and Chinese artists, dedicated to the seventies the first anniversary of the liberation of Czechoslovakia and victory in World War II, with a symbolic name "Bridges of art unify". Event organizers were civil society MIRELUB, Russian Centre Fund "Russkiy Mir", the European Foundation of Slavic literacy and culture, Russian Centre of Science and Culture.
Trencin Castle is one of the most beautiful military castles in the country; it was built on the site of a Great Moravian settlement of the 11th century. The rooms of the castle are an exposition of Trencin Museum.
4.5 2016 in Bratislava at Slavin was held a gala ceremony folding wreaths dedicated to 71st anniversary of victory in World War II, which was attended by bikers ”Victory road to Berlin."
The organizers of are from Russian club "Night Wolves". Their journey leads through Russia, Belarus, Poland, Slovakia, Austria, Czech Republic and Germany. The aim of bikers is to come to the German capital on May 9.
29th April 2016 in Bratislava was organized conference a round table on the topic "Europe on the threshold of war and turmoil", at business center AIRCRAFT.
Organizers of the event were Slovak, Czech and Russian bloggers popular Internet portals chlemendik.sk, nstarikov.ru, novarepublika.cz as well as the European foundation of Slavic literacy and culture, Russian Centre in Bratislava Fund "Ruskkiy peace" and izborsk club.

28.04.2016 In Bratislava at conference hall of the hotel Holiday Inn, was held an international educational-practical conference on "The Geopolitics of Russia." The organizers of the event were the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Slovak Republic and a branch of the Institute of International and Public Relations (IMOS Prague).
