22.06.2016 in the hall of the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Bratislava was held the solemn ceremony dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War.

The event began with a story about the one of the saddest and terrible days in the country's history - the start of the Great Patriotic War. The importance of preserving the historical memory in our time was especially emphasized. In a sign of memory for those who were killed in the Great Patriotic War and in the Second World War the Candle of Memory was lighted. All participants honored a memory of all those who gave their lives for a peace with the minute of silence.

On 22.06.2016 in Bratislava the commemorative events dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Nazi Germany's attack on the USSR were held.

On this day Russian compatriots traditionally pay tribute to those who died in the Great Patriotic War. In Bratislava Slavin memorial complex, which proclaimed the national cultural monument, celebrations were hosted. Here are buried 6,845 soldiers of the Soviet Army, who died during the liberation battles around the city...

On 08.06.2016, in Bratislava Business Center Aircraft was held the first meeting of brother-cities and partner regions of Russia and Slovakia. This meeting was held in the format of the International Conference.

7^th June In 2016, the Russian centre of the European Foundation Slavic literacy and culture in Bratislava took place the opening of the exhibition of books A. S. Pushkin.

The exhibition consists of books, audio books and movies located in the Library of the Russian centre and in memory to two hundred seventeenth birthday anniversary of the poet.

25^th May 2016 in Vienna at palace Kaiserhaus was held under the auspices of the Russian Embassy in Austria International Conference on "Relations with Russia Austria. Past - present - future ", dedicated to the development of Russian-Austrian relations.

Organizers of the event were Founndation "Russkiy Mir", Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Vienna, Austria Company-Russian friendship with the support of the Russian society of friendship with Austria.
