Open Day at the Russian Center

On the 23d of May 2018,  the Russian Center of the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture in Bratislava hosted an Open Day for students of the Einstein bilingual gymnasium, which was timed to coincide with the opening of the interactive exhibition "War and Myths", devoted to the main milestones of the World War II.

The Day of Victory in Bratislava

On the 9th of May 2018 in Bratislava a lot of solemn events, dedicated to the 73rd anniversary of the victory over fascism in The World War II, were held.

Meeting with students of Shintava city school

On the 4th of May 2018, the teachers of the Russian Center of the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture met with students and teachers of the Russian language of the secondary school in Shintava named after Knyaz Svyatopolk. The meeting was also attended by pupils and teachers of the Russian language of the specialized school №80 from the city of Yaroslavl, who came to Shintava on exchange program.

Teachers exchanged their experience in teaching Russian. Children prepared speeches and sang Russian songs.

Premiere of the film "Sobibor" in Bratislava

On the 7th of May 2018 in Bratislava series of events, dedicated to the events of October 1943, were held. In those days of war, the only successful of the major uprisings in the Nazi death camps, was the uprising led by Soviet officer Alexander Pechersky and it occurred at the fascist Sobibor death camp.

Drawings of Slovak children about Russia were presented in Bratislava

On the 17th of April 2018 in the most beautiful hall of ceremonies of the University named after Y.A. Komenskiy in Bratislava (which is one of the oldest universities in Europe), an album with drawings of Slovak schoolchildren on the topic "Russia with my paints" was presented.

Total dictation in the Russian language in Bratislava

On the 14th of April 2018 in Bratislava an annual educational event in the form of a voluntary dictation for all comers was held.
