On September 17-18, 2021 in Slovakia, in the resort town of Ruzomberok, the jubilee X International Festival "Russian Song over the Danube" was successfully held.
On the eve of the new academic year, on September 7, 2021, at the Russian Center of the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture in Bratislava, a practical seminar was held on the topic "Trends in the development of technologies for teaching Russian as a foreign language and key areas of work."
On August 29, 2021, celebrations were held in Slovakia to mark the 77th anniversary of the anti-Hitler Slovak National Uprising (Slovenské Narodne Povstání, SNP, August 29 - October 28, 1944).
The main events of the celebration took place at the Museum of the Slovak National Uprising in the town of Banska Bystrica. It was in this city that the headquarters of the international rebel movement was located.
On August 27, the final day of two-week online advanced training courses "Modern trends of Russian as a foreign language and methods of teaching it in a foreign language environment" for foreign teachers of Russian language and literature took place, in which Slovak teachers of higher educational institutions from different cities of Slovakia also took part.
