Image and Word - The European Fund for Slavic Literature and Culture continues its cooperation with Slovak Radio

The European Slavic Literature and Culture Foundation (EFSLiC) continues its fruitful cooperation with the Russian Editorial Office of Radio Slovakia International (Slovak Radio). As part of this project, another interview was conducted by Natalia Yadrishnikova, Vice-President of the Foundation and an external contributor to the editorial office.
The guest of the broadcast was Vyacheslav Shambazov, a photographer, IT specialist, and long-time friend of our Foundation. He actively participates in the cultural and media projects of the EFSLiC, as well as in the preparation of original publications.
Vyacheslav’s story is an inspiring example: having moved from Siberia to Slovakia, he started life anew, realized himself in a new country, and became a prominent figure in the local community. By education, he is an IT specialist; by calling, a photographer and traveler, he has managed to combine professional skills with his passions.
In the interview, Vyacheslav shares his personal experience of relocation and adaptation, talks about his creative journey, sources of inspiration, and why Slovakia became his home. It is an open and heartfelt conversation about change and inner freedom.
The Foundation’s collaboration with this talented author continues: Vyacheslav is a member of the jury for the “My Slovakia” photo contest organized by the EFSLiC and is preparing new materials—photographs and stories—for our magazine, European Herald.
Stay tuned for updates—there’s much more to come!
