European Foundation for Slavic Script and Culture

On the 24^th of November 2016 in Bratislava was held a round table with participation of heads of institutions of culture and tourism from different regions of Russia and Slovakia on cooperation between the two countries.

The round table was held at the Russian Center of Science and Culture, with the support of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Slovakia. It was attended by representatives of public organizations, ministries, administrations of regions and areas, and also by private companies in the field of culture and tourism.

From the Slovak side were made presentations of Kosice, Trenčín, Trnava, Žilina, Nitra, Prešov, Bratislava and Banska Bistritsa regions. Representatives of Dudince, Brusno, Piestany, Trenchanki Teplicy and Luchky resorts talked about the possibilities of treatment and rest.

On the 28 of November 2016 in the Russian center of Bratislavaat the European Fund of Slavic Literature and Culture was held an exhibition ofbooks on the Russian language.

The exposition presents the latest additions to the RussianCenter of textbooks, workbooks and CDs for teaching Russian as a foreignlanguage. The possibility to get acquainted with content, to evaluate themodern methods of teaching and beautiful design of textbooks appreciated bothteachers and students of Russian language courses.

Presented educational literature was designed for any age - fortraining children and adults. In the Russian language courses in Russian Centerhas already begun training on new textbooks.

Visitors got acquainted with other educational literature whichwas widely represented in the library of the Russian Center.

On the 11^th of November 2016 in Bratislava was hosted the Second Scientific Conference of Russian Language scientists, writers and slavicists "The image of Russia in the word."

The conference was held at the area of the exhibition complex Incheba within the context of international exhibitions - International Book Fair "Library" and the exhibition of education and teaching methods "Pedagogy"....

On the 3d of November 2016 in Moscow was performed X Jubilee Assembly of Russian World. More than 800 delegates from nearly a hundred countries gathered to discuss actual problems of the Russian-speaking community abroad. First Assembly began its work in 2007, it is with this date the fund "Russian world" started its work.

On the 10th of November 2016 in the Russian Center was hosted a discussion on "The image of Russia in the Slovak media and its impact on the public debate." As a basis for the discussion was the performance of the head of the Russian Center, Executive Director of the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture Alexander Bushuev. He acquainted participators with the results of the International Conference on the theme "Civil society, the media and the authorities, Russian and European experience", which was held on the 2nd of November in Moscow.
