On the 9th of November 2017, at the Russian Center in Bratislava of the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture, a meeting was held with the representative of the Orthodox Church of the Czech Lands and Slovakia, under Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, Archimandrite Seraphim.
Archimandrite Seraphim is the author of icons and frescoes in the temples of Russia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, the USA, Sweden, Great Britain, Ireland and Switzerland.
On the 15th of October 2017 in the Russian Center of the European Center of Slavic Literature and Culture in Bratislava the Russian language courses for children has begun.
In the first group were children of different ages from 3 to 14 years. The Russian Center invited a Russian-language teacher with a special pedagogical education received in Russia.
On the 12th of October 2017 in Bratislava in the Aircraft gallery was opened a surprisingly powerful sounding joint exhibition of two masters - the Russian artist Tatiana Vavrzhina and the Spanish sculptor Rosa Serra.
The exhibition was opened by Professor I.I. Bondarenko, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the European Center of Fine Arts, President of the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture, President of the European Academy of Security and Conflictology. All these organizations together with the Russian Center made an exhibition with the organizers.
On the 10th of October 2017 in Bratislava, with a great success, a number of actions took place within the framework of the XVIIth musical, educational and cultural-spiritual program "Voices of Orthodox Russia". The organizer was the International Public Foundation of the Unity of Orthodox Peoples with the support of the Russian Embassy in Slovakia.
In the Orthodox Church of St. Rostislav in Bratislava, the Divine Liturgy was held in the morning, headed by His Beatitude Archimandrite Preshovsky, Metropolitan of the Czech lands and Slovakia Rostislav.
On the 5th of October 2017, the opening of the exhibition of the works of the famous Czech painter Joe Muczka Jr. took place in the Aircraft gallery.
The exposition presents the most diverse contemporary works of the painter. As the author says about himself: "I work with various materials, not only with the canvas. On the vernissages, I paint right on the human body, I also use in my paintings a worn shirt, a pair of pants or sneakers etc ".
