On the 28th of February and on the 1st of March 2018 in Bratislava, several actions were held, connected with the arrival of the delegation of the House of Russian Abroad named after A. Solzhenitsyn from Moscow.
On the 23d of February 2018 in the Russian Center of the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture in Bratislava, the presentation of the book "Chronicle of the Cossacks. Cossacks in central Europe" was held.
On the 27th of February 2018 at the regular meeting of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Arts, Vice President of the Russian Academy of Arts Konstantin Khudyakov presented the recently published collection of materials of the fifth International Scientific and Practical Conference "Art and Power."
Since the 1st of September 2017, the Slovak-Russian elementary school started its activity in Bratislava.
This unique project presents the activity of the elementary school with the teaching of subjects and disciplines in the Slovak and Russian languages. The main aim of the school is to achieve the perfect Slovak-Russian bilingualism (even with the use of English), so that the graduates of the school after the 9th year could continue their studies at any secondary school in the Slovak Republic, in the Russian Federation or in any other schools in the world. The school is founded by private persons of Slovakia with the support of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Slovak Republic.
