Every year in October, the Albert Einstein Bilingual Grammar School in Bratislava celebrates The Day of the School. Gymnasium has existed since 1953 and is one of the oldest in Slovakia. In bilingual classes students study Russian language, separate subjects in Russian are also taught.
The exhibition "My Russian Province", composed of the funds of the Yelabuga State Museum-Reserve, was opened in Bratislava. The exposition presents the works of participants of the international art symposiums on contemporary art. The exhibition presnted 110 paintings and graphic works (watercolor, pencil, linocut).The press secretary of YSMR Evgenia Polikarpova told about it to the "BUSINESS Online".
The international forum of Russianists of Central and Eastern Europe “Bratislava meetings” was held for the first time in 2004 and immediately gained authority among experts.

On the 1st ofOctober 2019, a seminar on the topic “Innovations in bilingual education.Mental arithmetic" was held at the Russian Center of the EuropeanFoundation of Slavic Literature and Culture.
On the 10th of October 2019, an open lesson on the Russian language and culture was dedicated to contemporary Russian art in the Russian center of the European Foundation for Slavic Literature and Culture in Bratislava.
