European Foundation of Slavic Literacy and Culture – Commemorating the 80th Anniversary of Victory over Nazi Germany

 

The European Foundation of Slavic Literacy and Culture (Slavfond) is actively preparing to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Victory over Nazi Germany by implementing a project aimed at preserving the memory of the Great Patriotic War and passing it on to future generations. As part of this initiative, the foundation’s official website (www.slavfond.eu) publishes monthly materials highlighting key events and significant moments that contributed to the Victory in 1945.

The “Russian Word” Contest in Bratislava: A Celebration of Russian Culture and Creativity

The regional rounds of the “Russian Word” contest continue to take place in Slovakia. This year’s theme, “Calendar Holidays,” has added vibrant colors to events dedicated to Russian culture.

Representatives of the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture Participated in the Conference “Holocaust Research and Memory Politics”
The European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture took part in a roundtable discussion organized by the Scientific and Methodological Center of Russian Studies in collaboration with the Department of Eastern and Central European History and Historical Russian Studies of Budapest State University. The theme of the roundtable was “Holocaust Research and Memory Politics,” and the event was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Budapest Ghetto.
