On October 28, 2023, the banner exhibition “The Light of Yasnaya Polyana”, dedicated to the history of Lev Tolstoy’s museum-estate Yasnaya Polyana, was exhibited in the Aircraft gallery of the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture. The exhibition was prepared by the staff of the Lev Tolstoy Museum-Estate with the participation of the EFSPaC and the Faculty of Philosophy of the Matej Bela University (Banska Bystrica).
The European Fund for Slavic Literature and Culture is planning to expand its cooperation with the youth amateur theatre Break.Amateur Theatre Break is a group of non-professional actors from different parts of northern Slovakia. It brings together theatre actors from Orava, Kysuce and Turiec. They are mostly art school students who want to pursue their careers and develop their talent in the arts.
On October 14, 1943, an uprising broke out in the Sobibor concentration camp in southeastern Poland near Lublin. Sobibor was one of the death camps that served the Nazi ideology to murder Jews, Soviet war prisoners and Roma.
On September 24, 2023, the III book festival “Library “Slavica 2023” took place in the Slavic Court of Slavica (the village of Aleksince, near the city of Nitra, Slovakia). 
People in Europe celebrate the European Day of Languages every year on 26 September since 2001.
The main aim of this event is to encourage Europeans to learn foreign languages, regardless of their age or life situation.
