The 5th anniversary of the establishment of the Russian Center of the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture is a significant and important date. The popularization of the Russian language and the dissemination of knowledge about writing, history and the multifaceted culture of Russia is an extremely positive thing, contributing to mutual understanding between peoples and the development of truly friendly relations.
The Russian Center, headed by You, is located in the very center of Europe - the capital of Slovakia, Bratislava. Despite the fact that its activity is only at the very beginning of its noble mission, the Russian Center has already managed to gain a well-deserved fame as one of the most advanced, technically equipped, energetically and efficiently functioning such "islands" for the dissemination of knowledge about Russia and the Russian language.
For our side, we are well aware of your personal contribution to the work of the Russian Center of the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture. It is safe to say that it is thanks to you that the Russian Center in Bratislava has become so widely known, and its experience has become in demand in other similar organizations. You were able to transform the Russian Center into a center of cultural attraction in Europe.
