Contemporary art exhibition "The Eye of an Angel" opened in Bratislava

On October 19, 2020, the Aircraft Gallery in Bratislava hosted the opening of an Art Exhibition of Contemporary Art by the famous Russian artist Konstantin Khudyakov entitled "The Eye of an Angel".

The organizers were the European Center of Fine Arts and the Russian Center of the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture. Due to the quarantine restrictions adopted in Slovakia, visitors could get acquainted with the exhibition only in small groups of up to 6 people.

The name of Konstantin Khudyakov is well known to amateurs and connoisseurs of contemporary art in Russia and abroad. Konstantin Khudyakov is an Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts, President of the Creative Union of Artists of the Russian Federation. He presented his amazing works at the exhibition. They combine his architectural experience, knowledge of traditional painting and digital technology, as well as keen interest in socially sensitive topics and a deep metaphorical view, pushing for philosophical reflection.

The artist has held many solo exhibitions in various parts of the world. His works are kept in the State Tretyakov Gallery, Yaroslavl Art Museum, in the collection of the M'ARS Museum; in private and corporate collections in Austria, Great Britain, Germany, Holland, Russia, USA, France, Japan, Latin America, Scandinavia and others.

 












Students of Russian language courses were pleased to get acquainted with a fascinating exhibition, deep in content works, extraordinary thinking of the artist, thoughtful and detailed mastering of digital technologies, which are excellent for solving urgent creative problems.

The exhibition made a very strong emotional impact on the visitors provoked heated discussions of the style of such art, the discoverer of which many consider Konstantin Khudyakov.
