On August 31, 2020 at the Russian Center of the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture in Bratislava, an exhibition of books on the topic “Great and Eternal Feat. 75 years of Victory " was held.
The exposition was formed from books widely presented in the library collection of the Russian Center. A number of books about the Great Patriotic War were presented. The author of books is Professor Igor Bondarenko, President of the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture.
Slovak readers are interested in facts about World War II, the fate of Soviet marshals and generals, the role of Stalin, Zhukov and other victors over fascism. The exhibition presented books in Russian and Slovak languages. The exhibition is a good help in conducting lessons dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory.
On hot summer days, Russian compatriot Georgy Chumak came to the opening of the exhibition on a bicycle. An athlete, a member of the youth ice hockey team, a regular visitor to the center and a reader - he took an active interest in the books presented at the exhibition.
