Kondrachovtsy performed a Russian song

While being on quarantine, the famous Slovak ensemble "Kondrachovtsy" recorded a song called “In the Mountains”. Each performer was at home. They teamed up and sang a cappella  a beautiful song online.

The famous Russian song “Horse” (“I’ll go out in the field with a horse at night ...”) to the words of Alexander Shaganov and the music of Igor Matvienko was first performed by "Lube" group in 1994. "Kondrachovtsy" changed the text a little and performed it in the Slovak language.

The song is designed to give people joy and hope in these difficult conditions of isolation. "Kondrachovtsy" posted this song on the Internet - Kandráčovci - Na horách https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04mEYR_c1XE

The song caused a wide resonance. Enthusiastic comments were published under the plot: “Many thanks to Russia for this wonderful song”, “In times of rage against a country such as RUSSIA, it pleases that ordinary people are still always inclined towards this side of the world”, etc.

In the circumstances of the coronavirus pandemic, the Russian World Foundation supported the initiative of the Immortal Regiment of Russia and organized the International "Song of the Great Victory" contest on social networks with hashtags #ПесниВеликойПобеды, #GreatVictorySongs, as well as accompanying hashtags #GreatVictory75, #OneVictoryForAll, #NobodyForgotten.

The Russian center of the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture directs this video plot to participate in the contest https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04mEYR_c1XE
