The Concert of Russian virtuosos in the Conservatory of Bratislava

On the 26th of January 2017, in Bratislava, was hosted a concert of Russian musicians in the Concert Hall of the Conservatory. Russian Centre in Bratislava in cooperation with the RCSC were the organizers of this wonderful concert. As the spectators conservatory gathered students and teachers.

Taking into account the specifics of listeners, Russian Centre held negotiations with the Moscow Conservatory and invited to participate in a concert unique musicians. Together they prepared a program that included not only works of Russian composers, but also works of famous Czech composers A. Dvorzhak and J. Suk.

By the invitation of the Russian Centre the musicians delegation was headed by the professor of the Moscow Conservatory, a pedagogue and a virtuoso violinist, laureate of international contests and a jury-member of various international festivals, representative of Vladimir Spivakov fund - Victor Abramyan. He began the concert as a master class of musical and pedagogical mastery. Opening the concert, V. Abramyan expressed his sincere gratitude to the organizers of the event - the Centre of the Russian Fund "Russian World", Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Bratislava and the European Fund of Slavic Literature and Culture. He emphasised the importance of not only of creative contacts between the two conservatories, but also the importance of continuation of cooperation with the Russian centres and the European Fund of Slavic Literature and Culture.

However, the audience waited for the performance of young, fifteen-years old virtuoso-pianist, pupil of the Central Music School at the Moscow Conservatory of P.I. Tchaikovsky, the winner of various international competitions - Pavel Mnatsakanov. In 2014 he was awarded on the prestigious International Music Competition "Nutcracker", conducted by TV channel "Culture", after which he bears the title "Silver Nutcracker". Teachers and students of the Conservatory in the crowded hall listened to the young virtuoso pianist. There was music of J. Bach, F. Chopin, P.I. Tchaikovsky.

At the end of the concert, the hall burst with the applauses. The leadership of the conservatory expressed gratitude to the organizers for the high level of the musicians who came and expressed the hope for further cooperation and creative relationships with the Moscow Conservatory.
