On January 7, the Orthodox world celebrates one of the main holidays of the religious calendar - the Nativity of Christ. It is one of the twelve and always falls on the same day. Christmas services are considered one of the most beautiful in Orthodoxy; on this day the priests are dressed in white robes. Psalms are sung in churches in which the birth of Jesus Christ is glorified. In addition, during the night service, a religious procession is held.
