The Russian Center in Bratislava hosted an open day for young inventors, constructors and dreamers.

On September 26, 2021, an open day for young inventors, constructors and dreamers was held at the Russian Center in Bratislava.

Open Day is an event dedicated to the official opening of the Children's Robotics Club in Bratislava on the basis of the Russian Center of the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture.

The purpose of creating the Club is to give the children of compatriots the opportunity to engage in an interesting and promising type of creativity. Classes will contribute to the easy study of school subjects, train attention, perseverance, help to study and assimilate specific vocabulary in Russian.

During the event, the teachers of the Russian Center held a series of master classes on robotics and free programming.

The participants did not just play with robots - they learned the principles of their work, studied their circuitry, went all the way from creating an algorithm for controlling a robot on the screen to programming and translating the algorithm into reality using a robotic platform. Also, the guys were able to create their first cartoon.

The master classes were held in a friendly and warm atmosphere in a new specially equipped computer class.

"Classes in the Club are designed for parents who want to give their children a complete education with a bias in mathematics and information technology. The task of our teachers is to organically develop the mind and speech of children, teach them to focus on the main thing, think logically and clearly express", - explained Andrey Skorobogach, head of the Children's Robotics Club in Bratislava.
