75th Anniversary of the Great Victory: Shared Responsibility to History and our Future

75 years have passed since the end of the Great Patriotic War. Several generations have grown up over the years. The political map of the planet has changed. The Soviet Union that claimed an epic, crushing victory over Nazism and saved the entire world is gone. Besides, the events of that war have long become a distant memory, even for its participants. So why does Russia celebrate the 9th of May as the biggest holiday? Why does life almost come to a halt on June 22? And why does one feel a lump rise in their throat?

"Lesson of Victory" online for high school students of Bratislava

On May 15, 2020, an open online lesson in Russian was held. It was dedicated to the Victory in World War II against the Nazis with the title "Lesson of Victory" for high school students of the Ivan Horvat Gymnasium in Bratislava.

On June 6, Russian Language Day is annually celebrated in Russia and in the world. It is dedicated to the birthday of the great Russian poet, the founder of the modern Russian literary language, Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin.

The participation of the Slovak team in the International Olympiad in mental arithmetic

On June 8, 2020, the Slovak participants of the International Online Olympiad in mental arithmetic “Akira Battle” were awarded with honorary registered cups and certificates.

“Front-line letters” - the topic of an online lesson in Russian

OnJune 1, 2020, an online lesson in Russian was held. The topic of the lesson was“Front-line letters”. During the course students read their letters to animaginary front, after 75 years, which they have prepared as homework.
