On November 21–22, 2024, the award ceremony for the winners and final events of the "Bilingva" competition took place in Moscow. This year marked the tenth edition of the contest. Over the years, more than 4,500 participants from around the world have taken part. In 2024, the essays submitted for the competition were written in 41 languages of Russia and the world.
On November 15, the Aircraft Gallery hosted the vernissage of Russian artist Ekaterina Grishakova, who resides in Bratislava. The vernissage was part of the Folklore Day organized by the “Ruslana” association, the “Prasnica” ensemble, and the European Foundation of Slavic Literacy and Culture.
The "Russian Language Week in Slovakia", held from November 11 to 15 this year, has concluded.
Over five days, lectures on Russian language and literature were delivered both in person and online by university professors and educators: Prof. N. B. Korina and Assoc. Prof. E. I. Kaletsits from the Constantine the Philosopher University (Nitra), and T. Stadler from the Vienna University of Economics and Business. Online sessions were broadcast from Surgut State Pedagogical University, represented by Prof. D. V. Larkovich, Assoc. Prof. E. I. Breusova, Assoc. Prof. A. P. Kashkareva, and Assoc. Prof. I. A. Usanova.

Russian songs, dances, round dances, and games — all these elements bring students closer to our national culture and traditions. The event was organized and led by director and Chairwoman of the NGO "Ruslana," Maria Vladimirova from Martin, alongside Vladimir and Valentina Zelenina from Bratislava, founders of the Belarusian folklore ensemble "Prasnica" (in Russian, "Spinning Wheel").
On November 13, during the third day of Russian Language Week in Slovakia, an exciting event took place at the bilingual gymnasium named after Ivan Horvat. Tatiana Stadler, a Russian language teacher from the Vienna University of Economics and Business and author of several Russian language textbooks, organized a quest for gymnasium students.
On November 9-10, the 12th "Russian Song over the Danube" festival successfully took place in Ružomberok, gathering both lovers of Russian music and professional musicians. The age range of participants varied from the youngest (Luna Aurora Žolnaj, age 5) to seasoned musicians. This year, the festival welcomed guests from Austria, Spain, Hungary, Poland, Belarus, and Russia.
