On the 30th of March 2017 in the Russian Center in Bratislava at the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture was hosted a seminar on Russian language and culture on the topic "Ballet Swan Lake." Exactly 130 years ago on the stage of the Moscow Bolshoi Theater was performed the first staging of the legendary ballet under the music of P.I. Tchaikovsky. The seminar was conducted for students of Russian language courses and was dedicated to this anniversary.
20.03.2017 in the ancient town of Nowe Zamky, in the exhibition hall of the Imperial-royal arena was held an exhibition of paintings by Russian, Slovak and Ukrainian artists. This is not the first exhibition with this name. Organizers make a whole series of travelling exhibitions in the cities of Slovakia, inviting artists to participate.
On the 23d of March, 2017 in the Russian Center in Bratislava, at the European Foundation of Slavic Writing and Culture was held an evening on the theme "Russian writer, engineer and traveller N.G. Garin-Mikhailovsky ", dedicated to the 165th anniversary of his birth.
The evening was opened with the interesting story by Russian stage director Andrei Konchalovsky about the great man - Nikolai Garin-Mikhailovsky. The film was shown on the screen.
On the 16th of March 2017 at the Russian Center in Bratislava at the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture was held a seminar on "The history and architecture of the Moscow Kremlin", dedicated to its 530th birthday. The seminar was conducted for students of Russian language courses with the purpose of expanding vocabulary and their acquaintance with Russian history and culture.
On the 22d of February 2017 in the Russian center of Bratislava, at the European Fund of Slavic Literature and Culture, was held an exhibition of books on the subject of "History of Russia by the eyes of contemporaries."
