On the 11th and 12th of September 2019, a number of events took place in Bratislava, dedicated to the International Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Fascism, which is celebrated annually from 1962 on the second Sunday of September, as it was in this month that the Second World War began and ended.

Since 2010, at the initiative of the United Nations, the International Day of the Russian Language is widely celebrated around the world on June 6. On this day exactly 220 years ago, the great Russian poet and prose writer Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin was born.
On the 1st and 2nd of June, 2019, in the Siberian city of Khanty-Mansiysk, the V International Conference on the theme “Development of educational, cultural and scientific ties with compatriots living abroad. Contribution to the preservation of the Russian spiritual cultural environment" was held.
