On April 30, 2020 a webinar for teachers of Russian language and literature on the topic "Transfer to online learning. Useful resources and services.” was held in Bratislava. The organizer was the Russian Center of Science and Culture. A lecture on modern interactive technologies was prepared by Victoria Aleshina, a teacher of Russian as a Foreign Language (RFL) at Tula State University.
The coronavirus pandemic, which swept the whole world, influenced the possibility of holding events dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory over fascism. They will certainly take place, only a little bit later. But nothing can prevent us from uniting today and congratulating dear veterans, remembering all those who was killed in World War II.

On April 4, 1945, during fierce battles and a deep roundabout maneuver by the troops of the 2nd Ukrainian Front under the command of the Marshal of the Soviet Union Rodion Malinovsky, Bratislava was liberated with the participation of the Danube Soviet flotilla.
The Russian Ministry of Defense has declassified documents on the liberation of Czechoslovakian Bratislava. Multimedia section “Fraternal Glory and Courage “To the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Bratislava from Nazi occupation" is presented on the website of the department.
On April 14, 2020, the Russian Center of the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture in Bratislava held an open lesson in Russian for children on the theme “Words and Objects”.
