European Foundation for Slavic Script and Culture

The European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture, together with the Foundation for Ukrainian Literature and Culture, in 2022 provided sociocultural and psychological support to children who arrived with their parents from Ukraine.
Within the framework of the project, activities were carried out aimed at the adaptation of children in a new environment for them. Among the events were Slovak language courses, a series of lessons about the culture of Slovakia, psychological and pedagogical support was provided, speed reading and programming lessons, and master classes were held on lessons: music, singing, drawing and creative crafts.

On February 21, 2023, on the occasion of the International Mother Language Day and the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Slovak Republic, the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture hosted the grand opening of an exhibition of books by Belarusian writers entitled “Greetings, Belarusian book!”.

On the occasion of the celebration of the International Mother Language Day, we cordially invite you to the opening of the exhibition “Greetings to you, Belarusian book!”
The exhibition will feature Belarusian fiction and non-fiction literature by classical and contemporary authors in the Belarusian language, including literature for children. The presented books reflect the geography of the country and the history of the Belarusian people, their glorious deeds.

Dear friends!

We bring to your attention the participant of the international literary online project "The World Reads Chekhov" Mirka Bizikova (Gymnasium named after I. Horvath, Bratislava). Mirka read Anton Pavlovich's story "Thick and Thin" with talent and soul. "Thick and thin" is the brightest story from Chekhov's early works. The story is written emotionally with a subtle sense of humor, and the problem raised in
work that is still relevant today.

The European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture has joined the international action "The World Reads Chekhov".
We bring to your attention the first participant of the action Diana Dyuritsova from the Gymnasium. I. Horvat. Diana read Anton Pavlovich's story "Ah, teeth!"
