European Foundation for Slavic Script and Culture

From the 27th of February till the 26th of May 2017, in the Russian Center of the European Fund of Slavic Literature and Culture in Bratislava was hosted an internship in the Russian language of the bachelor from Italy - Leticia Gazzola.

Leticia completed her study at the State University of Ca Foscari in Venice (Italy) and obtained a bachelor's degree on Russian philology and culture. Since 2011, at the University of Ca 'Foscari, in the Center of the Study of Russian Culture, where she has been working, she studied the Russian language in depth.

After the tragic events in London on the 22d of March 2017, in my article I gave prediction that terrorists soon might show themselves again, but at the same time change tactics,  by using "traditional" bombs instead of vehicles crashing into the crowd (see "Rossiyskiye Vesti"  №3-4, 2017). Unfortunately, this happened exactly two months later - on the 22d of May 2017, but this time in Manchester. A native of Manchester, 22-year-old suicide bomber Salman...

On the 21st of May 2017, in Bratislava passed the certification exams on the Russian language, which were conducted by the specialists of the State Institute of Russian Language named after A.S. Pushkin, in the examination center at the Russian center of science and culture in Bratislava.

Terrorism once again made itself known. The tragedy this time took place in the heart of London. On the 22d of March in the afternoon the car deliberately drove to the sidewalk of Westminster Bridge and began to crush passersby, and then turned to the building of the British Parliament and crashed into the fence of Westminster Palace. As a result, 4 people were killed and about 40 injured. Again, as in the case of previous similar acts of terrorism, ISIS, which is banned in Russia and in many other countries, took responsibility for this terrorist act.
