Starting today, applications are open for the “Living Classics” Poetry Competition for readers aged 10 - 17 years.How to participate in the competition?
- Learn by heart any poem from the Golden or Silver Age of Russian literature
- Record a video of yourself reading this poem. The duration of the video is no more than 5 minutes. During the performance, musical accompaniment, scenery, and costumes may be used.
- Upload videos to cloud storage
- Go to the website: https://poets.liveclassics.ru fill out the application and attach a link to the video.
Deadline for submitting applications for participation in the competition: until October 31, 2023 (inclusive).
There will be a selection, following which the best participants will perform offline or online in their country at the Living Classics Day.
20 of the best poetry readers from around the world will be invited to the final of the competition in St. Petersburg in December.
