The Slovak team received awards for participating in the International Online Metal Arithmetic Olympiad

On June 27, at the Russian Center of the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture, a solemn awarding ceremony was held for the members of the Slovak team that took part in the International Online Olympiad in mental arithmetic "Akira Battle - The Invasion of the Magicians".

On June 6 and 7, young mathematicians of the Mental Arithmetic group studying at the Russian Center demonstrated their strength and talents.

In total, 200 students from schools of mental arithmetic from 15 countries of the world took part in the tournament: Russia, Slovakia, Ukraine, Belarus, Estonia, USA, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Germany and other countries.

Andrey Skorobogach is the head of the Slovak team. He spoke to the awardees: “The main task of the event is to unite overs of mental counting from all over the world, regardless of age, citizenship and skill level. In 2020, the first online Olympiad took place, in which our participants were enrolled in the CHAMPIONS group, and nonparticipant was enrolled in the SUPERCHAMPIONS group. This year, our two participants Eva Bondarenkova and Sofia Tyazheva also showed decent results and entered the group of CHAMPIONS, with which we congratulate them today! "

Children were happy to share both their emotions and further plans for reaching the finals at the International Olympiad in Mental Arithmetic - 2022. In order to achieve a high result, the preparation of the participants will be carried out in a specially equipped computer class using modern programs and interactive technologies.
