Meeting between Russian and Slovak Foreign Ministers Sergei Lavrov and Miroslav Lajchak

On the 6th of June 2017 in the Russian city of Kaliningrad, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov met with the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, Miroslav Lajchak.

Day of Russian Language in Bratislava

On the 6th of June 2017, in the Russian Center of the European Found of Slavic Literature and Culture in Bratislava was hosted the Russian Language Day, which is annually celebrated in Slovakia on the birthday of the great Russian poet A.S. Pushkin.

Internship in Russian language of the Bachelor from Italy

From the 27th of February till the 26th of May 2017, in the Russian Center of the European Fund of Slavic Literature and Culture in Bratislava was hosted an internship in the Russian language of the bachelor from Italy - Leticia Gazzola.

Leticia completed her study at the State University of Ca Foscari in Venice (Italy) and obtained a bachelor's degree on Russian philology and culture. Since 2011, at the University of Ca 'Foscari, in the Center of the Study of Russian Culture, where she has been working, she studied the Russian language in depth.

Terrorism as a step towards Europe's lumpenization

After the tragic events in London on the 22d of March 2017, in my article I gave prediction that terrorists soon might show themselves again, but at the same time change tactics,  by using "traditional" bombs instead of vehicles crashing into the crowd (see "Rossiyskiye Vesti"  №3-4, 2017). Open Day at the Russian Center

On the 30th of May 2017 in the Russian Center of the European Fund of Slavic Literature and Culture in Bratislava an “Open Day” was held.

The whole day the Russian Center hosted guests, showed opportunities to learn Russian language, acquainted all guests with the resources of the center and its library.

Special guests were students of the Ivan Gorvat bilingual gymnasium. This year the gymnasium celebrated its 50th anniversary. The gymnasium students study the Russian language quite intensively, for 20 hours a week, and also they have individual subjects conducted in Russian.
