Honorary right to snip the Red Ribbon has received Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Slovakia, Alexej Fedotov, Executive Director of the Russkiy Mir Fund Vladimir Kochi and the President of the European Fund of Slavic literacy and culture, Professor Igor Bondarenko. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in Slovakia in his speech pointed out that the interest in the history, language and culture of our country diminished in Slovakia and the opening of similar centres allows all interested parties to join the Russian culture.

Executive Director of the Russkiy Mir Fund Vladimir Kochi pledged full support for the work of the Russian centre in Bratislava.

Especially, it is noted the role of President of the European Fund of Slavic literacy and culture, Professor Igor Bondarenko. For the most part thanks to his energy and perseverance performed so extraordinary and remarkable event not only for Russia and Slovakia, but also for other European countries, as Russian Centre opened its doors to all those interested. Already they launched in the Russian centre Russian courses - and this is only the first step.

A few words should be said about the recently European Fund of Slavic literacy and culture, which, incidentally, became a permanent information partner of the weekly "Vesti Rossiyskiye" and the logo of the Fund in this regard on its front side. The Fund is a civic organization designed to promote the development of cultural relations between the Slavic countries, and promote friendship between the brotherly nations.

The opening ceremony was also attended by Deputy Minister of Culture of the Slovak Republic Ivan Sečík, which supported the establishment of yet another cultural centre in Bratislava.

The ceremony was also attended by Ambassador of Belarus to Slovakia Vladimir Serpikov. It should be noted that interest in the functioning of the Russian centre also expressed parties formally counted in Slavic circles. Among the guests was the Ambassador of Spain in Slovakia Felix Valdes, minister-counsellor Embassy of Brazil in the Slovak Republic Marko Antonio Nakata.

Opening feast then continued in showrooms Aircraft Gallery, where guests can get a chance to see several works now exhibiting artists. One of them takes place in the framework of international academic exhibition project "Between the Volga and the Danube." (Rossiyskiye Vesti already written about this unique international project См. №20, 2015) there are presented works of artists from Russia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Hungary, Serbia, Bulgaria, Poland, Ukraine and Moldova. Another art exhibition "Surrounding art", located in the adjacent hall, shows the works of famous Slovak artists - Milan Barton and photographer Mira Gasidla.

In the end, actions will follow the concert. Slovak featured singer trainee Mariinsky Theatre Dodo Ivaška who intimately sang Russian songs and romances. The glory of the evening was the energetic performance of the mentioned group of Russian "Girls".

The most important outcome of the evening is a real interest in all the participants in this important event. No wonder that his Slovak media pay special attention.
