Cooperation with the University Ca 'Foscari in Venice

the 20th of February 2017 the European Fund of Slavic Literature and Culture signed a cooperation agreement with the State University of Ca 'Foscari in Venice, Italy.

The university was founded in 1868. It is located in the palace Ca 'Foscari, from which the university took its name and was erected in Venetian Gothic style. Palace of Ca 'Foscari is located near the Grand Canal in the heart of Venice, near Saint Mark's Square. Since 2011, at the University Ca 'Foscari there is a Center for the Study of Russian Culture.

The subject of the agreement is the organization of training on the Russian language for students and graduates of the university on the basis of Russian Center. The internship program includes attendance at the Russian language courses and participation in seminars on Russian culture, fam iliarity with the Russian center resources and with the work of the library. From 27 of February the university sends the first student on internship - Letizia Gasol, who is studying Russian language at the University Center of the Study of Russian Culture. Her internship will take place under the program of the European Union's "Erasmus", which aims to improve the quality of education in Europe, to develop the mobility and cultural ties between the students of the European countries, to support cooperation between universities, students and teachers in higher education and vocational training.

The University has strong links with humanitarian organizations from Russia. Annually, there held Russian Film Festival "Ruskino in Ka`Foskari". According to the agreement, the university puts information about internship opportunities on their web sites.
