Alexander Petrovich Somov passed away

 (August 24, 1949 - October 14, 2017)

He was born in Russia, graduated from the Voronezh Engineering and Construction Institute, worked in leading jobs in Sverdlovsk and Moscow.

In 1998 he moved to Slovakia. For many years he was a representative of the Union of Russian Industrialists and Entrepreneurs in Slovakia.

Thanks to his professionalism and energy, he joined the founders of the Pan-European University in 2004, which became the first higher commercial educational institution in Slovakia. He was its leader for many years.

He always tried to unite two close Slavic people, actively promoting the Russian language and culture in Slovakia. He participated in the creation of the Russian Center in the Pan-European High School of Law, which then he headed for several years.

For many years, the compatriots felt his support. We lost a colleague, a kind friend, a good and sincere person.

We Grieve! We Remember!
