On July 28, the Orthodox Church celebrates the day of remembrance of the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir and the 1033rd anniversary of the Baptism of Rus.
Grand Duke Vladimir ruled Rus in the period from 978 to 1015. He stood at the origins of the adoption of Christianity in Russia. It was his will and state decision that determined the spiritual path, the direction of history and the development of culture.

The Cathedral of the Archangel Gabriel is celebrated by the Orthodox Church twice a year - the day after the Annunciation (April 8) and July 26.

The Archangel Gabriel was chosen by the Lord in order to proclaim to the Virgin Mary, and with Her and to all people, the great joy of the Incarnation of the Son of God. Therefore, the next day after the Annunciation, having glorified the Most Pure Virgin, they thank the Lord and honor His messenger Archangel Gabriel. And the reason for the establishment of the second day of celebration (July 26), as it is believed, was the date of consecration in the 17th century in Constantinople of the temple, erected in the name of the holy Archangel.

Saint Anne is addressed as the protector of pregnant women. In the Orthodox and Catholic churches, she is canonized as a saint.

The Kazan Icon of the Mother of God is a revered miraculous icon of the Mother of God, which appeared in Kazan.
The history of the Kazan Icon of the Most Holy Theotokos begins in the 16th century. It was then, on July 21, 1579, that her appearance took place.Iconographically, the Kazan icon is usually referred to as an abbreviated version of the Hodegetria. Such icons go back to the prototype kept in Blachernae Church in Constantinople.

The memory of St. Sergius of Radonezh is celebrated several times a year: on July 18 - the remembrance of the acquisition of his honest relics (1422), on October 8 - his death (1392).
